Let justice roll down: Trade for the common good

Policies that govern international trade present a serious moral challenge for Christians in the United States. U.S. trade policy is guided by narrow national self-interest, which often translates into seeking the interests of U.S.-based capital, corporations and agribusinesses.

This has a profound effect on the lives of millions of poor people around the world and on creation. Trade policies must work to advance the common good rather than the interests of a few.
